Welcome to another edition of Cultured Kids, co-hosted with the eminently refined Catherine’s Cultural Wednesday. Cultured Kids is a virtual space where we share articles on all things cultural every two weeks, for kids around the world. Check the articles below for fun and informative posts from other bloggers on theatre, museums, attractions, travel, historical destinations and much more.
Is everyone ready for a cultured June in London? There’s plenty for the little ones to get their teeth into – from Secret Rivers at the Museum of London Docklands (and Beasts of London still showing at the Museum of London City), to family days at the Royal Opera House and the Open Air Regent’s Theatre in The Regent’s Park. Kids interested in art should head over to the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition which opens on Monday 10 June. And of course, there is a rather special birthday this weekend – London will be celebrating Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday with a day of pomp and pageantry on June 8th.
