CULTURED KIDS #36

Well, hello 2019, and welcome to the first edition of CULTURED KIDS this year, co-hosted with the marvelous Catherine’s Cultural Wednesdays. Cultured Kids is a virtual space where we share articles on all things cultural every two weeks, for kids around the world. Check the articles below for fun and informative posts from other bloggers on theatre, museums, attractions, travel, historical destinations and much more.

It’s going to be a whiz-banging year for the arts and culture scene over here in London, and even more splendiferous for the kids.

Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is back in June and Mary Poppins returns to the stage in August. The child-friendly adaptation of The Winter’s Tale comes to the National Theatre in February. Opera-loving kids will be looking forward to the Royal Opera House production of The Monstrous Child (with some puppetry thrown-in), also opening in February. Southbank’s Imagine Festival returns for 12 jam-packed days of fun on the 13 February, with Jacqueline Wilson making an appearance on the 16 February.  And on the same day, Brick Wonders opens at the Horniman, where the kids can discover 50 wonders of the world made from 500,000 Lego bricks!
